DONATION
As a voluntary body, the financial resources of this Organization are uncertain. Most of RBDH's source of income is dependent on:
- Donations from individuals and corporate bodies
- Central Government assistance is approximately 5% (per year) of the total amount for orphans. This contribution is channeled through the Social Welfare Department (JKM).
- (In 2020 the amount given is RM 57,000.00)
- The lack of income from expenses is covered from savings or surpluses obtained during public donations during the month of Ramadhan.
Aspects of RBDH Expenses
In general, the expenses for these orphans reach between RM70,000 - RM100,000 per month. The expenditure aspect covers the following requirements:
Electricity, water, and gas supply (4.4%)
Food and beverage supplies (9.7%)
Oil and vehicle maintenance (1 bus and 2 vans) – (3.0%)
Teaching allowance for religious teachers & tuition fees (6.4%)
Building repair and maintenance (5.0%)
Purchase of books and stationery (1.5%)
School allowance for children in day school (15%)
Employee wages (29%)
Telephone expenses (0.5%)
Miscellaneous (Astro, Social Welfare, Medical, Clothing) – (25.5%)
(RBDH's income and expenses are audited by a certified auditor and the audit report will be sent to the Registration Office of Organizations and the Department of Social Welfare every year.)
